Voordat ‘iedereen’ hier geweest is…

Zimbali offers a combination of 5-star hospitality, most spectacular golf course and all-year round sunshine on KwaZulu Natal's Dolphin Coast of South Africa. 4-day golf package incl. car hire, golf and guided nature walk.

Enjoy the sunshine on this pristine stretch of coast line just north of Durban on KwaZulu Natal’s Dolphin Coast. Zimbali Coastal Resort is a spectacularly beautiful destination and an example of the most environmentally sensitive residential and resort development in South Africa. Zimbali – ‘Valley of the flowers’ in the local Zulu language – is a sanctuary unlike any other in South Africa. Lush vegetation, cool breezes from the Indian Ocean, endless beaches and clear skies invite you relax, indulge and rejuvenate.

Within this subtropical paradise, set within the serene confines of a coastal forest reserve, you will find the highest expression of exclusive hospitality: Fairmont Zimbali Lodge. You will enjoy five-star service, including on-call butler service, ensuring you of an unforgettable African experience.

A 50 hectare reserve within the estate has been demarcated as conservation areas providing a refuge to the rich variety of local flora & fauna. Pathways and wooden viewing decks through out these areas allow residents to interact with nature. Zimbali has several natural springwater lakes which create a beautiful habitat to the 85 species of bird, hosts of butterflies and a wide variety of indigenous plant life. Animal life within the forest reserve include bush buck, blue duiker, bushbaby, vervet monkey, banded mongoose and even wild pig.

The eastern frontage of the South Africa luxury resort comprises a 3 km stretch of unspoilt beach forming a natural golden boundary between the rich green forest and the warm blue Indian Ocean.

The Championship Tom Weiskopf golf course on the resort is as challenging as it is spectacular. Coastal forest on the 2nd nine follow the rolling hills and open fairways of the 1st nine holes, making the course not only visually pleasing but also physically challenging. Compulsory golf carts are therefore not an overindulgence, but rather a necessity to enjoy this course to its fullest.
