Explore the Mother City of Cape Town, and play some leisurely rounds of golf while doing so. An excellent ‘starter pack’ for the enthusiastic golfer, who enjoys a good walk and meeting locals on the course. Highlight on the golfing side is the last round at the Steenberg Golf Estate, which has won international awards for its course design, service and location.

Friendly guesthouse accommodation close to the Atlantic Ocean or at the foot of Table Mountain.

Self-drive package including car hire. 24-hr back up by local agent.

What’s happening?

Itinerary

Day 1 –
Arrive in Cape Town. One of our representatives will be meeting and greeting you at the arrival hall and will escort you to the car rental desk where your rental vehicle will be waiting for you.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 2 –
In the morning, up Table Mountain with the cable car (weather permitting; own account).  A must when in Cape Town and absolutely worthwhile!  In the (early) afternoon we have booked a round of golf at Mowbray Golf Course.  After golf evening at leisure.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 3 –
Today we suggest you do the tour to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.  Along the way you can make stops at Houtbay Harbor, continue via the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak road and on the way back visit the Penguin Colony at Boulder’s beach (entrance fees all own account).  Time permitting you may be able to fit in a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 4 –
Golf in the morning at Westlake Golf Course, a beautiful parkland course.  After golf (and lunch) a stroll through the center of Cape Town including the Company Gardens.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 5 –
A round of golf at the Royal Cape.  Again a beautiful and well maintained parkland course.  The afternoon is at leisure, time for shopping at the V&A Waterfront, a visit to Robben Island or possibly even both.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 6 –
A day at leisure, but an outing to the Winelands is absolutely recommended. Visit some of the superb wine estates, enjoy a good lunch and maybe spend some time in Stellenbosch, South Africa’s 2nd oldest town.
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 7 –
A round of golf at the Clovelly Golf Course.  Again a beautiful and well maintained parkland course.  The afternoon is at leisure, may be spend some time at the nearby beach, or visit Kirstenbosch if you haven’t been there yet…
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 8 –
To top it all off, a round of golf at the Steenberg Golf Estate, one of the most beautiful and best maintained courses of the country, let alone of the Cape!  A highlight on the itinerary!
Overnight: Cape Town

Day 9 –
Time to go home… Depending on your departure time, there might be time for some more sightseeing, a visit to the Castle of Good Hope or one of the any museums Cape Town has.
