Tours

Platinum Golf Tours is based in beautiful Knysna along the Garden Route – basically half-way between Cape Town and the malaria-free game reserves in the Eastern Cape.  However, we operate all over South Africa and even beyond our own borders.

In this section you can select:

- Garden Route day tours: around Knysna and Plettenberg Bay; visit the monkeys, birds and elephants; go on an ocean safari (especially spectacular in whale season!) or disappear into the indigenous Knysna forest, looking for the elusive elephants; or go further afield to the Karoo and Oudtshoorn; or the Tsitsikamma National Park with its major swing bridge;

- Self-drive tours: magical tours around the highlights of the country, with (or without – for the non-golfers amongst you) some superb courses ‘thrown in’ for sheer variety.  The ease of an organized tour, combined with the flexibility of doing things at your own pace.  Time in between the golf can be filled with sightseeing or other activities, or you can choose to take life as it comes…;

- Guided tours: the luxury variant of the self-drive tours, where you will have a private driver/guide taking you around.  No chance of getting lost, no worries about ‘drinking and driving’, getting to the tee in time, and getting all the ins and outs of the areas, towns and people you will be visiting;
